Description
As recommended in the Sunday Times and in The New York Times
:
“The best way to experience the power and pleasure of chocolate is
to taste its history.”
” Crafting bonbons or chocolate bars is not just a sweet treat, but
it’s like weaving my affections and memories into each delicate
piece.”
Tequila Tasting, Chocolate Pairing, and Cocktails – what is not to
love? A delicious combination of chocolate tasting, tequila
tasting, and Melt’s original cocktails.
Tequila and Chocolate share many similarities, both originate in
Mexico and Latin America, both are at their best when produced in
an “artisanal” way, and both share the importance of their
“terroir”. For both Chocolate and Tequila – fermentation is key for
creating the flavour and complexity – which is why they make such
good pairings.
Chocolate has been on an incredible journey from a “gift of the
Gods” to a modern chocolate bar. We want you to experience that
journey by tasting chocolate from the wild Amazon and the best
single-origin estates. Melt wants people to learn about the
chocolate revolution and how to put the chocolate back on its
spiritual pedestal. Think of a fine wine – like a Chateau Lafite
and that gives you an idea of what the best chocolate taste like –
not the Ribena that most of us drink.
We want you to celebrate this amazing civilization – with
chocolate, tequila, and great cocktails. Mexico has a rich history
of cocktails with Tequila and Margaritas.
But Tequila, or the Spirit of Latin America, is so much more than a
base for cocktails. Taste and learn about Tequila as a local. Learn
the difference between Blue and White Agave and Mezqual. Melt has
developed three new cocktails of our own -which feature in a new
Cocktail book. The Pisco Passion, the Melt Margarita, and the Aztec
Revenge. We will teach you how to make these amazing cocktails in
the heart of Notting Hill, one of the world’s great urban
environments. Join us on our passion with chocolate, and tequila
and celebrate this rich Aztec civilization with two new and unique
Cocktails – which you will love.
Indulge in the delightful pairing of chocolate and cocktails with
Melt Chocolate's unique experience. Come and learn about the
chocolate revolution and taste the difference!
In the same way that Ribena and the finest wine can't be compared,
this tasting experience will help you understand how powerful real
chocolate can be versus its cousins on the self of the shops.
This immersive journey will take you through the history of
chocolate, from its origins as the "gift of the Gods" to the
modern-day chocolate bars we know today. You'll be tasting this
adventure through time by sampling chocolate from the Amazon and
the best single-origin estates.
Melt Chocolate is inviting you to come and celebrate this amazing
civilization by crafting three original cocktails inspired by the
rich history of Mexican drinks featuring Tequila and
Margaritas.
Come and mix up the Pisco Passion, the Melt Margarita, and the
Aztec Revenge in their gorgeous urban environment in Notting Hill.
You will learn how to make cocktail recipes to knock your socks off
and pair them with carefully selected chocolates.
Join your talented chocolatiers in their passion to bring the rich
Aztec civilization to life through cocktails and chocolate! A
London experience not to be missed.
